About Polk County Tractor

Polk County Tractor was started in 1998 with the customer in mind. Our objective is to supply parts and service at a fair price to everyone. We are a family owned and operated company in Livingston, Texas, and we pride ourselves in knowing your name and giving you the best service - whether you are the farmer, the rancher, the weekender or anyone else interested in Ag.

At the time we opened the business with a 30' x 40' building on a 50' x 150' lot, the owner was a one man operation selling aftermarket parts. The business proved to be successful, and 14 months later a large shop area was added and the first employee was hired. At that time we also started handling Cub Cadet, Vicon, and Branson products. Business continued to grow at a steady pace as we hired other employees to handle the growing clientele. We had a record year in 2007, and chose to put those profits back into the company by adding another 125' of roofed area along with another work bay, and a 40' x 50' warehouse. Along with this expansion came the addition of more product lines - Mohawk, McCormick, Continental Belton, Troybilt, Kuhn, Koyker, Kawasaki and Durabilt. In 2016 we became a Can-am authorized dealer. We now carry Can-am ATVs and Side by Side models, as well as genuine Can-am parts and accessories.

Our objective is to grow the business along with the community in a stable manner and be here for the long term. You, the customer, are what created Polk County Tractor, and we realize that without you we would not be a successful business. We strive to provide you with our quality service and expertise, not only after the sale, but before the sale when you are choosing a product or considering repairs.

We stay active in the local community by sponsoring local athletics, the livestock show and rodeo, multiple Volunteer Fire Departments, the Go Texan Committee, Farm Bureau, and various other organizations
